Getting Your Work Done
ProMT makes it easier than ever to work faster and more efficiently.

Transcription Level

  • Automatic allocation of files to the different transcribers
  • Automatic naming of the transcribed document
  • Automatic calculation of the word count (with or without spaces) and line count.
  • A user can be allowed to transcribe more than one file at a time, however, this will require special permission from the DBA
  • Automatic opening of a new Word or WordPerfect document or template.
  • Registers the time the MT picked up from and dropped the file back to the server.

Proofing Level

  • Automatically open the transcribed Word or WordPerfect document or template depending on the Hospital selected.
  • Proofers can enter error counts, which will be used to calculate accuracy of each file.
  • The system allows the proofer to Reject the file and send it back to the tanscription queue.
  • Saves the proofed file in a QC folder as well as the Proofed folder.

Editing Level

  • Automatic allocation of the files to the different editors.
  • Calculates the Word and Line Counts and displays them on the screen.
  • Sends the file to Backup folder.
  • Register the time the user dropped the file to the server.
  • Editor can enter error counts, which will be used to calculate accuracy of each file.

Reports
The different reports generated by ProMT are:

  • Invoice - It generates invoices for any account for given periods.
  • Transcription - This report outputs the transcriber’s performance giving details like Transcribed file name, time picked up, line count, time dropped etc..
  • Proofing - This report outputs the proofer’s performance and calculates the efficiency of the transcriber by giving his/her accuracy. It gives details like MT Line Count, Proofer Line Count, Errors and Weightage as defined by AAMT and actual accuracy.
  • Editing - This report outputs the editor’s performance and shows accuracy of each file at the Final Edited stage.
  • Production - This report outputs the total production handled during a given period.
  • Rejected Files - This report displays all the files that have been rejected by the proofer and outputs this list for a given period.
  • Status - This report displays the current status of all the files being handled during a given period. It is the most vital aspect of the ProMT system as it helps the DBA to monitor the process of production very closely and follow up the process minute by minute.Auto refreshes the screen, for online information.

All the reports generated by the system are outputted in Excel format with the exception of the Status Report.

Quality Assurance with ProMT
The QC or the Quality Control Screen enables the MT to view the proofed file with all corrections or additions clearly highlighted. This is a vital function of the ProMT process as it enables the user to improve his/her performance. As a learning tool for the MT, it is unparalleled in terms of the instant feedback that it provides. The MT can learn quickly and reach higher levels of accuracy in a short span of time.
